The ideal candidate for this role will be knowledgeable in Cannabis education, possesses strong communication skills and can effectively provide outstanding customer service.
The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, approachable, and skilled at time management in a fast-paced environment.
In leu of extensive knowledge, the willingness, desire and ability to learn quickly is a HUGE advantage.
This is a full-time position based in Lenox, MI.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Advising customers on suitable cannabis products based on their needs, preferences, budgets, and reactions to different strains of cannabis.
Keeping abreast of new cannabis products on the market as well as the latest industry trends through trade shows and research.
Processing customers' payments using the dispensary's Point of Sale (POS) system.
Educating customers on the safe use of their selected cannabis products.
Correctly weighing, packaging, and labeling cannabis products as required.
Checking customers' identification documents to verify that they are of legal age.
Maintaining a clean, well-stocked, and highly organized sales floor and back office Proactively informing Store Managers on business needs, team performance and potential issues Ensuring a consistent standard of customer service and assists customers whenever necessary Completing tasks assigned by store managers accurately and efficiently Developing good customer relationships and address customer service needs Protecting store assets and maintaining inventory accuracy Qualifications & Skills MUST be at least 21 years of age MUST have open availability and be able to work up to 40 hours a week Be a compassionate team player with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal savvy Have a track record of problem solving and flexibility in a fast-paced environment Have ability to maintain composure, apply policy objectively, and work independently Be detail oriented with excellent prioritization and multitasking skills Maintain a desire to learn as well as a general knowledge of Cannabis (i.
